Despite being a little lake, Rainbow Lake is really beautiful. Rainbow Lake features pristinely clean water that shifts from aqua to green depending on the time of day and is fed by freshwater habitats from nearby mountains. The lake is well-liked by trout anglers and has good-sized brown trout in it.
Due to the lush, green meadows that surround it, Rainbow Lake is one of the most picturesque lakes in the world. It is serene and enticing to be by the lake. The serene view of the lake captivates the tourists. It can be a daydream to camp near a lake. The skies are gloomy and the evenings are so quiet here. The lake is meant to be a pool of wild trout.

Rainbow Lake Minimarg
A little lake with incredible beauty can be found in Minimarg Astore Valley. Rainbow Lake is made more beautiful by the mountains that are linked to the clean water streams. The lake’s beautiful water has varying hues of green throughout the day. It is difficult to get to Rainbow Lake, though. Only across the 14500-foot-high Burzil Pass can one reach the Minimarg Valley and Rainbow Lake.
Every year, 7-8 months of heavy snow cause the Burzil Pass to stay closed. Before visiting this location, many details must be coordinated. Minimart is reachable by the Astore Kargil Road and Deosai National Park from Skardu. One path leads to Deosai Plains, and the other, via Burzil Top, leads to Minimarg. Only at the 14500-foot-high Burzil Pass are Minimarg Valley and Rainbow Lake accessible. 7-8 months out of the year, Burzil Pass is closed because of severe snowfall.

Personal opinion
The lake is itself amazing, but the route leading up to it is also beautiful. The meandering path between the lofty pines looks like it belongs in a fairy tale. The grassy hills that surround it give the lake’s waters a bizarre and mesmerizing appearance. This a must-see spot for everyone visiting Minimarg, Pakistan To appreciate the roadside view while driving, attempt to rent a great 4×4 because highways are not your friend. If you’re coming for the very first time, I suggest taking a guide, yet always keeping your identification evidence on you.
