Barah Broq Trek, one of the greatest and fastest routes to see K2 is via Barah Broq. Not only that, but also offers a glimpse of the traditional Karakoram landscape and the opportunity to interact with local communities that don’t often get visitors.
The problem is that not many people are familiar with Barah Broq. It’s only recently gained popularity as a hiking destination, and there’s not much to no information available about how to get there.
The Barah Broq Trek is intended for families that like to hike. a peak that local photographer and trekking enthusiast Mr. Musa Khan just visited for the first time. The Moses Peak located in Karakoram Range in Barah Valley. This mountain tower is in an open area, and climbing it does not require a trekking permission is the payment of the Peak Royalty.
This peak’s unique feature is the breathtaking view of almost all the other 7000+ peaks in the area, such as Nangaparbat, Spantik, Latok, Broadpeak, Mashabrom, Ghashabrom1/2/3/4/, Chogholingsa, Baltoro kangri, Sia kangri, K-7, K-6, K12, and many more snow-covered peaks. The K-2 is the second highest peak in the world. A simple, beautiful four to five day trip that starts at the Moses Peak base camp and returns to Barah Village. The path is situated in a public area.
