Burji La Trek, the former British route between Srinagar and Skardu, known as Burji la (4816m), is a snow-covered north-south pass that connects the Deosai Plains with the Skardu Valley. When there was no road or access to the nearby settlements, Burja La was a very busy pass that connected the main region of Skardu to the Astor and Gultari valleys, according to the local elders. This was Astori’s and Gultari’s method of approaching Skardu.
Since the trail up from Skardu is a fairly steep two-day trek, it is recommended to approach the Burji La from the Deosai plateau. We recommend taking the Sadpara route up to the Deosai and the Burji La route down.
In Gilgit Baltistan, Burji La is a mountain pass that connects Skardu and Deosai National Park. It is well-known for providing a stunning panoramic vista of 8,000-meter peaks. K2, Masherbrum, Chogolisa, Laila Peak, Golden Peak, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum 1, Gasherbrum 02, Gasherbrum 04, and a portion of Broad Peak Mountain can be seen from Burji La Pass
In Case of flight Cancellation we will head towards Skardu via Karakoram High way to reach Skardu (14-16 Hours’ Drive)
