Laila Peak Base Camp & Haramosh La Trek

Laila Peak Base Camp & Haramosh La Trek

There are two ways to ascend the face of Spantik Peak & Laila Peak. Mikhail Davy and Alexander Klenov used the English route to ascend the first part of the pillar. From August 5 to August 11, 1987, the international team followed Victor Saunders and Mick Fowler’s English route for five days. Under the direction of Captain H.R.A. Streather, a British-Pakistan Army expedition visited the Chogo Lungma and Kero Lungma glaciers in 1959 to investigate the possibility of climbing the region’s lower peaks. However, Hoshi-to-Arashi (Stars and Storms), a Japanese Club Expedition led by Nakamura, ascended the mountain from the south ridge.

In the same year, it was also climbed from the southeast ridge by the Japanese Reiho Alpine Club expedition. He was in charge, Y. Murata. Both teams arrived at the peak via Chogolungma Glacier and discuss the possibility of avalanches in the region.

According to several Japanese sources, Germans climbed Spantik Mountain in 1955.The Arandu and Haramosh valleys are two great places to visit on your hike. People in both valleys spend most of their time searching for minerals, or stones. Although expensive stones are a gift from God, finding them requires a great deal of effort
