Mushkpuri is a Sanskrit word that means “a region of silence and tranquilly.” Hiking or trekking is one of Mushkpuri’s key attractions.
The Himalayan Mountain subalpine conifer forests cover the majority of the mountain. The pipeline track is another name for this track. Murree, Pakistan’s busiest hill station, now has access to water thanks to the installation of a pipeline. Furthermore, due to its higher altitude, it is significantly cooler than the test of Galyat. Mushkpuri Top Location
Mushkpuri is a 2,800-meter-high mountain in the Nathia Gali Hills of the Abbottabad District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of northern Pakistan. It is located 90 kilometres north of Islamabad, close to Dunga Gali in the Ayubia National Park’s Nathia Gali area. It is the Galyat Region’s second tallest peak, behind Miranjani, which stands at 2,992 metres. The Western Himalayan subalpine coniferous forests cover much of the mountain.

Mushkpuri Peak View
The road from Nathia Gali on the mountain’s western side is a steady 4-kilometre (2.5-mile) climb. The mountain also includes a harder climb on the Dunga Gali side. On this side, a bird sanctuary was established with the assistance of the European Union.
The following sites may be viewed from the summit of Mukeshpuri mountain, on the eastern boundary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Abbottabad School of Science and Technology, Jhelum River, Bagh District of Azad Kashmir, Murree and the Murree Tehsil, and Islamabad.
Best Access
Mushkpuri Top is the second-highest hill in Galiyat and is roughly 9452 feet/3150 metres above sea level. This journey begins at the Pines Resort in Nathigali and spirals upwards through the magnificent green pine forest, showing natural beauty. Hikers on their trip to Mushkpuri summit are greeted by a colourful fairy-fractured carpet of flowers in Mushkpuri’s verdant Meadows (particularly near the end of the rainfall season). Another trip descends to the opposite side towards Dunga Gali, giving you a bird’s-eye view of Ayubia National park down below; this journey is not recommended for anyone who is afraid of heights.
Ayyubia and Dunga Gali are roughly a two-hour hike apart. There is another journey to Mushkpuri that begins in Dungagali. This route has a steeper incline than the one from Nathiagali. Ayubia National Park can be seen from the Mushkpuri to Dungagali trip down below. At the Mushkpuri peak, there is a freshwater pool with a magnificent reflection of the trees and sky.
Trek To Mushkpuri Top
The park begins in Dunga Gali and extends to the river Jehlum. The trip to Mushkpuri Top can alternatively be begun from Dunga Gali. It’s a nice journey for families to get away and enjoy the gorgeous natural coniferous tree of the galyat. At the summit, there is an extremely small water spring. From Mushkpuri Top, you can also glimpse the beautiful Kashmir valley.
Mushkpuri Top is accessible via the Dungagali-Ayubia Track. The ‘Pipeline Track’ is the name given to this route. This trail runs for 4 kilometres from Dunga Galli to Ayubia beside the pipeline. This straight walking circuit requires 40 to 50 minutes to finish at an elevation of roughly 8,200 feet.
As a result, you may enjoy natural beauties like rain, clouds, fog and stunning sunsets. Furthermore, the Yellow Fanged Magpie, Red Bloody and Yellow Bodies Finches, White Cheek or Painted Grey Finch, and a variety of other birds are regularly spotted on the trip to Mushkpuri Top.

In the winter, Mushkpuri is covered in snow. The beautiful green plains are completely engulfed in snow. Furthermore, the gorgeous icy mountains are breathtaking. A stunning view of snowy peaks, foggy mornings, and blossoming sunsets is also available. Snow starts to fall in January and December. Summer, is a nice season to visit.
