Nangma Valley Trek
Nangma Valley Trek, Baltistan is a well-known location for adventure and cultural travel, situated in the stunning Karakoram Range. This area is referred to as a mountaineer’s heaven. Baltistan is home to hundreds of 7000-meter-high Mountains, world-famous trekking routes, and four of the fourteen summits that rise above 8000 meters. It is also the home to numerous diverse ethnic groups, cultures, and languages. Baltistan is home to vibrant flowers, cascading streams, emerald lakes, verdant meadows, apricot orchids, and the warm and hospitable Balti people.
During his successful K6 trip in 1970, Eduard Koblmiller traveled through the Nangma Valley and called it a place of “unusual and primordial beauty.” The Nagma Valley has striking color contrasts and abstract lines that point vertically and astonishingly high in the sky, giving it the appearance of an impressionist painting. The base camps are only a short stroll from the valley, which makes it much more accessible than other, far more well-known locations. The valley’s beauty is almost touching. Nagma Valley in Pakistan is among the country’s most picturesque valleys because of the enormous granite walls that loom over you. This adventure will delight you, taking place in a less-traveled section of the Karakoram.
From Kanday town, a short trek will lead you to the stunning Nangma Valley, renowned for its natural beauty and dubbed the “heaven of rock climbing.” This amazing hike passes through verdant meadows and offers a captivating perspective of the mountains.
In the Baltistan Region, Kanday Nangma Valley is the most well-known place for rock climbing. This is an amazing area with rock climbing options ranging from intermediate to extreme, including the well-known Amin Braq. One of the most breathtaking places in Baltistan for trekking is this valley.
