Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek
In Pakistan, the Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek is one of the most well-liked trekking routes. Rakaposhi, one of the world’s highest peaks, is situated in the Karakoram Range and rises to a height of 7,788 meters (25,551 ft). En route to the summit of Rakaposhi, the trip passes through breathtaking valleys, verdant meadows, and majestic glaciers.
Starting point of the walk is the little town of Minapin, which is situated in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Nagar valley. We trek up to the base camp at Hapakun from there, where we spend our first night. The walk gives breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and passes past lovely apricot and walnut orchards.
We hike to the Tagaphari settlement the following day, where we spend the night. With breathtaking views of the Rakaposhi and Diran peaks, the walk winds through the Nagar Valley’s verdant meadows.
We carry on walking from Tagaphari in the direction of the Rakaposhi base camp. The trek gives breathtaking views of the Rakaposhi peak as it winds through the steep Minapin glacier. At 4,150 meters (13,615 feet) above sea level, the base camp provides stunning views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers.
We explore the area and take in the breathtaking views during our day at the base camp. After there, we hike back down the valley to our destination of Minapin.
Throughout the the entire excursion, our knowledgeable guides and porters will look out for your comfort and safety. We offer full board services that include food, drink, and transportation in addition to camping supplies.
